Conceptual Note

On a vertical canvas, the work features a vast, deep crimson color field that envelops the entire composition. Several horizontal lines, delicately incised into the surface, are irregularly distributed, creating subtle divisions across the plane.

The surface, rendered with acrylic and oil, displays a rich, stratified texture, evoking the impression of weathered skin or hide where time and experience have left their mark. Within this terrain, four small blocks, similar in tone but slightly lighter and more defined, emerge along the incised lines, functioning as markers or vestiges of underlying structures.
