El ascenso

A large abstract painting built from horizontal strata, intense color fields and a suspended architectural presence. A dominant red block rises over deep blue, yellow, green and turquoise planes, creating a landscape that feels both physical and symbolic. The composition suggests a place of origin: a territory where structure begins to emerge from the earth. The red vertical passage at the right introduces movement, ascent and tension, as if the viewer were entering a silent threshold between landscape, memory and construction. Part of the Strata series, this work explores the relationship between color, territory and consciousness. Its layered surfaces, strong contrasts and minimal structural elements create a sense of depth, stillness and inner passage.
