Conceptual Note
Deep indigo fields dominate the canvas, divided horizontally by gently curving white lines. The surface of these blue territories reveals a rich, worked texture, built through visible layers of acrylic that shift in tone from almost black to lighter blues, suggesting depth and material presence. These structural divisions organize the composition, creating distinct spatial bands across the vertical expanse.
Within these structured fields, four vibrant crimson forms are strategically placed, appearing to rest upon or emerge from the white lines. Each irregular, block-like form is rendered with a distinct, impastoed presence, their vivid red hue creating a stark chromatic contrast against the deep blue.
