Genesis of Metaphysical Territories
My paintings explore the genesis of metaphysical territories — spaces where individual consciousness begins to emerge from the structure of the earth.
Within this practice, the work can also be understood as architectural minimal abstract painting, where minimal spatial structures and symbolic landscapes give form to territories of consciousness.
Rather than depicting specific landscapes, the work investigates a more primordial condition: the moment when territory becomes the ground of presence and orientation. The individual does not simply inhabit the earth; he emerges from it.
The visual language of the paintings draws from geological and architectural structures. Horizons organize the spatial field, monolithic forms act as anchors of genesis, and incised stairways introduce the scale of the individual entering the territory. Segmented masses evoke tectonic formations that appear to precede human presence.
These elements form a symbolic architecture where landscape is no longer something to be depicted, but a field in which consciousness can emerge.
The paintings function as an architectural mapping of consciousness — territories of silence where earth, structure and presence converge.
