INNER VORTEX- Since 2017
Inner Vortex is a series that began in 2017 as an exploration of human inner movement. It emerges from an interest in emotions, thought, psychological time and the mental dynamics that traverse everyday experience.
The spiral functions as a central symbol, representing internal flows, cycles of agitation and return, and pulsations of consciousness and biology. It does not describe a specific state, but an ongoing process of transformation, where the centre is not a fixed point but a continuous search.
Fragmentation and segmentation appear as a visual language. Far from indicating rupture, they express the way the mind perceives and organises experience: through layers, impulses, interruptions and recompositions. Each fragment retains its autonomy while participating in a larger movement that contains it.
In Inner Vortex, colour, materiality and gesture generate a sense of depth and inner vibration. Painting becomes an energetic field in which tension and recollection, noise and silence, expansion and withdrawal coexist.
This series remains open and alive. Inner Vortex constitutes a fundamental root within the broader body of work: a point of origin from which later series develop and integrate, sustaining an active dialogue between inner movement, perception and consciousness.
